Dual SIM Phone W/ Best Camera?

I'm loving my FreedomPop AT&T LTE SIM + LG Phoenix 2 + Hangouts combo EXCEPT for the camera on the LG Phoenix 2, which isn't very good.

I moved to the LG Phoenix 2 from a LG G2 VS980 for 2 reasons:
    1) I wanted to try the FreedomPop AT&T LTE SIM to see if Hangouts for voice on AT&T LTE data would be sufficient for my needs, which so far it seems to be, and
    2) because right after I started testing the Phoenix 2, my LG G2 developed dead spots on the touch screen.

While it was nowhere as good as an iPhone or some newer Android cameras, in hindsight, the LG G2 camera, at least in comparison to the Phoenix 2, was not at all bad!

So, does anybody has a suggestion for a dual SIM phone that supports all US AT&T and T-Mobile bands/frequencies AND has an above average camera? The SIM support doesn't need to be simultaneous, but both SIM slots need to be switchable with full LTE support when active. Hopefully that makes sense.

I paid $135 ($150-10% USPS movers coupon) for my LG G2 VS980 brand new at Best Buy in May, 2015, when they were clearing them out, and $30 for my LG Phoenix 2 from Best Buy in November, 2016, during their Black Friday sale, so I don't know yet if I'll be willing to spend enough to get a dual SIM phone like I want, but I'd really appreciate some suggestions.

    Thanks!

How much you looking to spend? I'm partial to the axon 7 as it seems the best bang for the buck feature wise. Camera is quite decent. Look at some real samples - https://community.zteusa.com/thread/12272 .

Your current handsets are dual SIM? How do you use the two SIMs for different purposes?

I also wonder about dual sim. Is this an effective cost cutting strategy? Do you couple it with gooogle voice?

    samsung galaxy s7 duos http://www.samsung.com/ae/smartphones/galaxy-s7-g930fd/
(I'm too lazy to look and see what bands it supports, but the s7 has one of the best cameras out there)

The dual SIM S7 has all the US bands for GSM and CDMA? What about the S8?

The LG Phoenix 2 is not dual SIM. If I run out of data, on one FP SIM, I'll have to open up the back and put in a different FP SIM.

In my case, as long as FP continues to offer the AT&T LTE data service for free, if I had a dual SIM phone, 2 FP SIMs would give me enough free data to not "ration" data every month. But if I do go that route, I'd want to make sure it has a good camera, too.

I'm using Hangouts for both voice and messaging on my cell phone.

Looks like all the major bands for all US carriers. SIM 2 slot is either a SIM OR microSD. I did not see what the capabilities of each SIM is. This is a ~$700 phone. It should be pretty good. Looks like there is a dual SIM model of the S8. I'm not paying $700+ for that either.

It has the LTE bands and CDMA for Verizon and Sprint. We don't know if they will whitelist these phones so you can actually use them.

    4G FDD LTE
    B1(2100), B2(1900), B3(1800), B4(AWS), B5(850), B7(2600), B8(900), B12(700), B13(700), B17(700), B18(800), B19(800), B20(800), B25(1900), B26(800), B28(700)

    4G TDD LTE
    B38(2600), B39(1900), B40(2300), B41(2500)

Don't think that s7 supports cdma. Looks to be an international model of sorts. What about bootloader unlocking/rooting? Assuming it can be bought stateside, price?E

Edit: yes it has the lte bands for vzw/sprint, but not actual 'cdma' support. Good luck getting it accepted on sprint. Might work for vzw lte only.

Hmmm...with those prices, I'll be waiting a few years. I think $200 would be pushing the limit of what I'd want to spend.

some people pair up a truphone sim(for free incoming voice and text) with a freedom pop sim(for data and outgoing voice). they do some google voice ring back for free outgoing calls or just use hangouts.

as for phones, ive been monitoring the price of various Blu models as well as offering by chinese hand set makers like Leeco and ZTE as well as others. i am sure you will find something that falls in your price range. Maybe something like the Honor 5x?

    Maybe.

But I sure would like 2 SIM card slots IN ADDITION to a microSD card slot without having to "circumcise" a SIM card .

I'm probably being unreasonable in my hopes...

Yeah, I assumed that because it has Sprint LTE bands 25, 26, 41 that it also has CDMA. It does not. GSM and LTE only.

I don't believe I've seen a dual sim + sd card device. Good luck finding one if they do exist.

I have plenty of fp sim cards, so sacrificing one wasn't a big deal.
