Spring cleaning. Are these worth anything?

I have 22 old phones. Most are Verizon phones. Will they bring any money in eBay or are they worthless? I may just destroy them with target practice to save me from erasing each one. See pictures. Name: ImageUploadedByHoFo1491852602.483815.jpg

Might be worth something who likes keeping classic devices like those. I'm one of them. Lol.

    Do they all work?

As far as I know they all work. I haven't charged the batteries in years. I did turn a couple of them on and they booted right up.

Most would not sell for enough to be worth the trouble. Some of the flip phones could be used by people who want to set up a PagePlus PAYG account. Is that an iPhone or an Android at the upper right corner?

One of the problems you run into is that someone who knows how to do it can recover pictures, texts, contacts, etc. off old phones, even if you "delete" them. Only fairly recently have manufactures included storage encryption and memory wipe as part of the standard security packages in phones. If any of those phones contain anything private, you might want to consider that.

First, remove the batteries and recycle them at a Lowe's, Home Depot or some other appropriate place.

I would factory reset and check them. Check eBay for prices of anything that has a charger, runs a couple of days, doesn't have a bulging or leaking battery. Donate them to the womens shelter and take their value as a charitable donation for taxes. Around here the sheriff dept. collects them for the woemens shelters.

I wouldn't worry much about anyone going all FBI and doing a wiped phone recovery of contacts. The last phone number the device had will be there and easily visible though.

Sell the lot on ebay or to someone here via PM. Not worth much, but at least your giving the hardware another chance at being used.

They won't bring much if any cash, but you could donate them and get a tax deduction. I know there have been various charity organizations that used to take them.
