anyone able to sign up for new unlimited dataconnect pass ?

i have been trying to get this new offer:

    http://www.prepaidphonenews.com/2017...***-plans.html

when i try to signup online i get the old plans. after a chat session i was asked to call in the activation. the person on the phone said it should be possible but for some reason was unable to process the order. i was asked to goto a store. after a couple store i found one that tried to help but had the same problem i has online and over the phone.

i have tried with different devices/IMEIs thinking that may be the issue but even on an AT&T branded tablet no luck.

has anyone successfully gotten the 30 day unlimited MB pass ?

Try inserting the unactivated att sim in iPad or android tablet. I know on iPad you get A signup pop up screen you will see plan selection. Select the 29.99 plan good for 30 days

streamsaver is stated as not available on the unlimited pass. my assumption was take that to mean it could not be turned off. it appears i was wrong and it is not activated. i'm streaming full HD(1080p) video without a glitch.

Thank you for the heads-up in this, robbyrobby!

I had no problems signing up with an AT&To MEMO 7 tablet, except for AT&T (Cricket as well) refusing to accept my main residence's address...that I've had for nearly 30 years. After the info form for IMEI, SIM #, etc. I was given a list of plans which included the unlimited plan. For those that may sign up, the unlimited plan is in the middle of the plan listings.

Sent from my LGUS992 using HoFo mobile app

So this plan represents unlimited, speed uncapped data for a tablet, etc. at $30/month?

Outside of having to renew the plan manually every month (oh, the horror, the horror), is something being missed here?

nope. i love it so far and have actually used close to 30GB

the thing is it a one off pass for 30 days. if at&t ever decides they do not like how they are being used(for example heavy usage than they expected on average) they could simply stop offering the pass and its all over. no one would be grandfathered in. its a relatively risk free way for at&t to 'test the waters' and see if they like the usage patterns they get.

i'm guessing they were not selling as many data passes as they liked and so did this as a test.
