    Not for just anyone

    Less for less!

    Just not for you.

Telus is unhappy with this week's development.
    Shaw Acquires Spectrum From Quebecor

Suppressing competition takes precedence over allowing the Public at large access to good plans.

But don't let that bother you.

For $49, Freedom has the better plan. Now, if they only had a network... If you live in one of the 4 big cities, it's a great deal. Unless you leave your 'safe place'. Then, it'll get expensive.

I get why PM did it this way. See above. No Canada-wide calling either, just Provincial.
    Un-Rogered, and getting better 'value'.

Even if you live in zone the coverage is still awful
    Freedom is doomed really
    Public $120 Province Wide + 12GB - $6 Autopay - $6 Loyalty - $42 Refer = $22 per Month
Telus SK North American Wide 7GB = $65
    Chatr (Mobi) $40 North America Wide + 6GB + 30 Mins Roaming

Calling is no longer the centerpiece of a cell plan anymore, it is the data. Besides, there are so many ways of using data to make calls without ever worrying about long distance charges.

Just out of curiosity what is the favorite app these days for making calls to the US? I use Fongo for calling in Canada but it requires purchasing long distance credits to call the US with it.

Since it's hard to get Google Voice outside the USA now. I recommend text now. It works exactly like Google Voice and it's free

Exactly this. I use it for all my calls to the US, and it works very well.
