Just bought a used samsung s8, it has massive screen burn in cant get refund

Well I decided to buy a used phone, and I have bought many phones from amazon, ebay, and even craigslist before. But this is my first AMOLED screen phone, and it has ghost images of the previous user that I can not remove from the screen.

i tried a reset and its still there. I tried running an app that changes the color of my screen every couple seconds but it doesnt work

I didnt think such a high end phone suffers from this. Is there any fixes for this?

I see many AMOLED phones suffer from this, such a shame.

There's no fix for this. There's somewhat of a workaround, though not a great one. See https://www.androidpit.com/how-to-fi...droid-displays .

haven't read about many s8 owners complaining, wonder if it was a display model. Amazon didn't help?

It seems logical that the burn in is the reason they sold it.

AMOLED screens look amazing but they're prone to permanent burn-ins and that's the reason I just stay away from them. My Galaxy S2 and BLU Pure XL got burn-ins in several places on their screens after about a year of use.
