There are no other plans, no other phones (android) listed on the VM website. Did they get purchased by Apple?

I'll gladly pass. For one, I don't like the iPhone. For another I wouldn't drop that chunk of change on a network with inferior coverage. As usual, a Sprint Prepaid Group announcement is much ado about nothing.

This is an amazing deal for someone who wants an iphone and get decent service on the Sprint network!
Get $25 credit by switching to Cricket Wireless! Then $250 by referring others! Same AT&T signal! Click here!

This says no word if hotspot is included.

I think this might be a good deal for someone that wants an iPhone and a $50 unlimited plan but not very good for anyone else.

It would be nice if you can bring iPhones from the other 3 carriers like Boost Mobile does and use it with their service, but I doubt that would ever happen. It also would be nice if you could use Sprint iPhones on this as well. It never mentions it in their site so chances are that idea will never happen and they just want you to buy their phones.

Or free service for a year. You can always leave after a year.

Is this new customers only? Will the phone be unlocked after the year?

No risk, no worries, no commitments

If you decide life in the Inner Circle isn’t for you, no problem. We’ll miss you, of course, but we don’t ask for a commitment, and we mean it. Simply send your iPhone back within 14 days of purchase and we’ll give you a full refund.

If you’re past the 14-day mark, you’re free to take your iPhone elsewhere.

This also makes current used VM phones not unlocked worthless.
