Sprint needs to focus on upgrading it's ancient 3G sites to LTE first. Come on, it's 2017, we shouldn't have 3G only service in so many areas still.

LTE is popping up in places. Their only down to around a lower % of towers left. I've gotten LTE places I couldn't before. All sites should be all LTE with at least B25 by end of the year. Anything after that is just poor site spacing

They're ramping up B41 deployments again so hopefully that'll give them a good shot in the arm. Gotta spend money to make money.

The other that at least helps is 10x10 on B25 is getting wide spread to sites that don't have B41. Anything higher than 5x5 is better. Plus B25+25 CA is in the works

    60 MHz B41 + 10 MHz B25 + 10 MHz B26 is 80 MHz of spectrum.

    Galaxy S7 - Carrier Aggregation Band 30 10 MHz PCC + Band 4 10 MHz SCC1 + Band 12 10 MHz SCC2

They have more than 10 on B25 most is 20mhz. Twin Cities 2 5x5 that is 20mhz other areas have 10x10+5x5 so that's 30mhz. Speed isn't the issue everywhere

That will likely change this year. At least B25. I will say B26 needs to also be added

I'm close, but not close enough, to B41. So, I squeeze what I can out of a 5×5 B25 antenna. Is there a way, known to mere mortals, to gain insight into Sprint's specific near-term plans for a particular B41 tower upgrade?

Orlando itself has 15x15 B25 on most towers. So it's possible your area could get it.

Is there any way to sleuth out their plans? Maybe City permitting? Or FCC applications? I know, I'm reaching!

The majority of upstate NY is 5 MHz band 25, a second carrier would do wonders there. No B41 outside of Syracuse and Buffalo that I have personally seen. I would love Sprint to densify up here as I roam on Verizon or AT&T if we are a couple miles away from the tower. Slow download too on 5x5, highest I got was 4 mb down
