H2O has eliminated their 2GB plan

It appears that anyone on their 2GB plan w/autopay for $27 will be bumped to their 3GB plan at $31.50.

    https://www.h2owirelessnow.com/mainC...page=planMonth

That makes Red Pocket anywhere from $6 to $11 cheaper depending on 6 mth or 1 yr plan.

I still see the $30/month (before auto recharge) plan on that page.

What I see is that there's currently a promotion on the 2GB $30/month plan... where it includes 3GB. Fine print below:
1Promotion req’s new svc line or ported number and activation of one (1) h2o® Wireless $30 Monthly Unlimited Plan between 7/1/2017 – 9/30/17 (Eligible Plan) to be eligible to receive free 4G LTE data (Bonus Data). No code req’d. Fees, charges, & restr’s apply.
Carriers I've used: Sprint, T-Mobile, Cricket, AT&T, Verizon, Page Plus, Virgin Mobile, Movistar, AT&T Mexico, Telcel, Straight Talk, RingPlus.
Phones I've used: iPhone 6S, iPhone 5c, HTC One M9, Samsung Galaxy S3, LG G2, BlackBerry Storm, Nokia 820, Motorola Atrix HD, iPhone 4S, HTC One V, iPhone 4, Nokia Lumia 900, Nokia N9, Samsung Focus, Samsung Captivate, Nokia N900, HTC 8525, iPhone 3GS, iPhone, Nokia E61i, Siemens A56...

New customers at $30. Existing pay $35. I'm existing w/ 2 GB paying $30/$27 w/autopay. Since there's no longer a 2 GB tier for existing customers I assume I'm bumped to the 3 GB tier at the higher level of $35/$31.50.

See above. Also, they're differentiating between new and existing ($30 vs $35) on the 3 GB plan. While technically there's a 2 + 1 GB bonus plan for NEW customers it seems existing customers won't have a 'bonus' plan, it's pure no bonus 3 GB plan at a higher price.

I believe for the $30/mo plan ($27 after auto recharge), the new customers will get 3GB and we old timers would get only 2GB 4G LTE data.

Why are they not rewarding long time users?

    That's what happened with me .. 2GB @ $27.

I just have a hard time believing they'll sweep us under the table which is why I'm speculating they'll bump us to make it consistent with current plans but hey, what do I know lol.

Red Pocket's 6 month, $153/3GB plan is looking more and more attractive.

    No speed cap either.

    Yes it does look appealing.

Surprisingly I'm not seeing a speed cap on H2o anymore. Thinking it maybe only occurs during times of tower congestion.

They are still showing 8 Mbps max for LTE phones, 4 Mbps max for other phones and 2G speeds if you go over your high speed data allotment.

That's a very good question since it's very easy to switch prepaid providers and multiple free phone offers to people who switch. With the new 8 Mbps max speed and the 3 Mbps speed plans on other prepaid carriers, AT&T is doubling down on the fact that they won't give you the amount of perks that T-Mobile and Sprint will give you on their prepaid carriers. IF their merger does go through, you'll see AT&T allowing more benefits to its prepaid users.

Just tested and I'm seeing 15 Mbps down & 5 Mbps up on LTE band 4 inside an office building.

First, the speed cap, and now this.

I understand they've been doing a lot of shuffling, but for my purposes, what they're doing is driving me toward Cricket, which is also speed capped, but at least I'd have full iOS support (MMS, VVM) and 4GB for $35 auto pay.

T-Mo has supposedly made inroads on their coverage so I'd be open to switching networks as well.

Did you not read the thread? The 2 GB plan is still here with no apparent speed caps. Just checked again & seeing 29 Mbps down & 28 Mbps up with a 27 ms ping.
