I'm on the 2GB plan and can't confirm this. Maybe it's my area. Note how I'm unable to pull sub 100ms pings anymore.Name: Screenshot_20170801-101814.jpg

Interesting. Thanks for sharing. I was wondering about that. I am also wondering about speeds after throttling since they say you will be restricted to 2G if you go over your high speed limit. One rep I talked to said that if that happened you would still get HSPA+ speeds no matter what due to the 2G network shutdown, but I don't know if anyone can confirm that.

it would be HSPA+ throttled to 2G speeds...if you go over your allocated data

That makes Red Pocket anywhere from $6 to $11 cheaper depending on 6 mth or 1 yr plan.
This is not correct. h2o $30 plan @ 2GB has not been eliminated. Anyone under the $30 ($27) plan will continue to be on the $30 plan. New user promotion for 3GB is valid for 1st month only, after which they will receive 2GB.

Hmm, must be area dependent. I tested in Northern Virginia yesterday & downtown DC today. I was seeing a slowdown when the change was first announced, but not now.

In practice I'm partially correct, new subscribers can't get a $30/$27 2GB plan from the get go (no reason to with the 3GB promotion) til month 2. Any existing who had a 3GB plan and wants to continue will be looking at $35/$31.50.

Or do I have this wrong?

Houston, TX - H2O $27/mo (with Auto Recharge) Plan. I just took 3 quick speed tests. I believe I will get better results at night with lighter traffic.

I'm about to switch from Cricket. Looking at the website just now, there is no longer a mention of the autopay discount. I hope I don't wind up paying $30 and not getting the $3 discount for autopay. That would make me sad.

(edit) My fault. It's just not on the front page anymore. In fact, they're giving a 15% discount for the first month of autopay and 10% thereafter.

    I think I will like H2O.

For test results completely different than dslreports (post #16) here's what I'm getting on Speedtest. Can anyone explain why the huge DL/UP disparity? Great pings huh?Name: Screenshot_20170801-142838.jpg

My guess would be congested tower de-prioritization. Do you get similar results at off peak times?

Time permitting I'll try a few tonight or early tomorrow. Still can't explain why the results are so different from dslreports.
