I started seeing this new MCC / MNC show in my carrier list on my Nexus 6P along with Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile.
The code is listed as Verizon. Any idea why they are broadcasting a second ID?

I have heard it is because it is a different frequency.

However, my question is why doesn't the Nexus show Sprint's networks?

I don't think so, before they put up B4 here, they had 312770 broadcasting, got no clue why they're doing that, Mayne it's for IoT?

I've seen this on the network list as well and wondered what it was. Not listed as anything other than 312770 in my case.

That depends on SIMM card. Verizon and T-Mobile do not show Sprint, but a deactivated one from a Jordan Prepaid carrier did show Sprint.

Well, I may have the answer here to this question. I believe this other MCC/MNC is the code used for Verizons Home Fusion Broadband service. It will be different than the standard 311-480 mobile code. I base this on discovering AT&T's code for their new Rural fixed broadband service. Their standard code is obviously 310 410 but after forcing B30 on my S8+ this popped up near my house. Its confirmed to be for home bb service:
