    Cricket Wireless Email Support Discontinued

I was just informed by email support from Cricket that email support will be discontinued soon and support will be offered through Twitter and Facebook.

No link available but I emailed support this evening and Billy ended the email with:

    Cricket Wireless Email Support Discontinued

Wonder if those guys were fired or just switched to DM? Not everyone use social media.
Get $25 credit by switching to Cricket Wireless! Then $250 by referring others! Same AT&T signal! Click here!

Maybe it's just a modern way to help people? I know that customers on Sprint's free 1 yr plan had some trouble with regular phone and email CS but they tweeted at a Sprint Exec and report some success getting their problems resolved.

Guess this makes documented communication harder when they start screwing customers over.

Guess pretty soon they will just merge with att prepaid.

They were probably moved to social media positions. Zendesk requires a subscription by the company so keeping the staff but moving them to answer social media and dropping Zendesk saves money.

Just a change of platform for hopefully the same CS. Lots of companies use FB... one that I've had involvement with is Toys r us.

Not everyone plays on the social media platforms. How much savings can there really be in shutting down the email side of customer service?

Yes, if zendesk cost money, they should have switched them to another address. Now we will have to figure out how to use Facebook messenger to contact them. If somebody know that method please comment.
