    Verizon IPhone 5s

    My daughter soaked her iPhone 5. I received a Verizon iPhone 5s. I tried activating it online and over the phone with the 5 SIM card. They couldn't do it because they said it's not in their system. Will going to a store help? Otherwise how do I get them to put it in their system because it is eligible.

    Sticking the 5 sim card in the 5s is all you should have had to do.

    Not if they are on Sprint. They have to get it added to the database for it to work properly.

    You might just be able to do a IMEI check on Ting Byod checker and that will update the Sprint database

    Thanks for the response. I tried putting in the SIM card from the 5 to the 5s but it didn't work. Tried do a chat, and they could not do it. I called cs and they told me I had to bring it into a Sprint store. Went to the store and the guy was very helpful, and had it taken care of within a half hour. He also didn't charge me for the new SIM the phone needed to work.
