Heavily discounted Net10 Airtime on eBay, thoughts?

Just wondering if anybody has an opinion, for instance there is a seller selling $40 , 30 -day refill cards for under $20, this one in particular has excellent feedback and thousands of items for sale, anybody know where these might come from, and most importantly safe to buy!! some send you the card and some add it to your reserve, all they need in that case is you phone number.

Well there was the Family Dollar mega deal about a year ago? where due to a price mistake the cards were selling for $1 IIRC.

Yes that's where I'd think it came from.

I've still got a few of mine I haven't used yet. Not Net10 but same error for Tracfone air cards.

I stick to common saying if it's too good to be true it probably is. They could be potentially purchased with stolen credit cards and you won't find out till later after they do an investigation and possibly have your line termniated. This is a common eBay scam.

    Not worth the risk imo.

The Net10 cards from the Family Dollar deal were only the $40 cards that came in a $50 BYOP kit that included SIMs for Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile along with a $40 airtime card with scratch off PIN. They were old stock because the cards said they included unlimited T&T and 1.5 GB of data.
