it's 8/23... streaming 1440p YouTube video just fine, gUDP still on 2-year contract

it's 8/23.... I'm streaming 1440p YouTube video just fine on my Galaxy S8.

guess they haven't implemented the video slowdown just yet? or hopefully it
won't people like me who are still on gUDP with 2-year contract remaining?

There's no slowdown for existing g or nUDP.

I'll wait for them to implement the changes (hope they never do it) But so far still streaming 1080p 60 FPS YouTube just fine.

There is no reason to believe that source when every other source, including Verizon's own press release, says otherwise.

The likely explanation is that the video throttling hasn't been implemented yet just like it took months for the MHS throttling to be implemented.

It's starting already, but appears to be a market by market rollout. Reports are over up on Reddit showing that video is getting throttled to 3.3 Mbps.

Tell that to these people. None of them that are experiencing the throttle are getting 10 Mbps.

Wait, the video is being limited to 10Mbps? OK, I'm not going to compain about the throttling anymore. Most of the time I can't get more than 10Mbps anyway.
