    Plan changes

Can you do multiple plan changes thru out the month and just pay the difference? Rep at the store told me I'd basically have to pay full price twice. I was looking to upgrade to the unlimited plan from the 45$ plan. I initially started out on the daily plan. Thanks!

That is the way Cricket does it but AT&T not so. I believe you pay again and start over.

Yep, you have to pay for a whole new cycle if you want to change plans.

You can once per plan cycle. If the plan costs more, you pay a prorated amount. If it costs less, you get a credit.

Thanks for the responses. If that's the case I'm going back to cricket once my data runs out. Every other carrier I've had usually prorated and I paid the difference.

It is prorated and you only pay the difference if the new plan costs more.

I researched it on their site and in their forums and it seemed clear that they charge you the full rate when you upgrade. I ran out of data 10 days into my 6gb plan and so upgraded to the unlimited. They warned before clicking that nothing would carry over from existing plan and in fact they charged me full $65 plus tax even though I was already on autopay. They really nickel and dime you. Cricket was far more friendly changing plans and always favored the customer. Not att prepaid, not in any way.

I went from the $45 plan to the $30 for plan half a month and then back, it was prorated though I had to call them to prorate it. The system charged me the full amount and didn't even bother to reset my renewal date...

Ok, then calling is the way to go, next time. Since they stated it would be a reset, I just accepted it. Plus my data was used up. The date did start at t

This is what I see on paygonline.com when I try to change my plan:
Full monthly payment for the new plan will be charged less any prorated credit issued for unused days in your plan term. The high speed data allowance will be prorated based on the number of days remaining in your plan term. We recommend you wait to make this change until the day before your plan renews so you don’t lose any of your current plan’s high speed data, Add-Ons or other services.

If you change plans Stream Saver will be turned on for eligible plans, even if it was previously turned off.
So you are charged for the full 30 day price of the new plan but you get a prorated refund of your original plan for however many days are left on it. At the end of the day, you are not paying anything extra.

If you want single line unlimited plan not sure why you wouldn't move to cricket. Cricket's new unlimited 2 plan is only $50 after auto pay discount or $55 without auto pay. Not sure why you want to pay $60+ per month for basically exact same service?

Cricket allows 2 plan changes per cycle at prorated fees/credit.

It's actually 3 plan changes per month, but the 3rd change has to be done by calling or chatting with cust service.
Get $25 credit by switching to Cricket Wireless! Then $250 by referring others! Same AT&T signal! Click here!
