Is their a way to get both my Android phone and Tablet to see the iPhone hotspot?

Never had that problem. Just have to make sure the “wifi” is turned on your iPhone as well

In that situation I have always had to reboot the Android device to connect to my iPhone hotspot. Then it would connect.

I grew tired of the problems and just went to a dedicated hotspot, which always works. Hotspots on both android and apple just freeze too often

I used an iPhone SE in the past as a hotspot, but it frequently went to sleep I guess, because after a few minutes of inactivity, I would have to renew the connection. I suspect it's a battery saver feature that caused it to drop out.

A while back I began to use my Amazon Fire Phone as a hotspot on my free line with Promo Plus 10Gb tethering. I have had it remain active for over 10 days at a time, and the battery use is only 30-40% during an 8 hour day away from home, and a charger. Pretty decent phone also, solid and about the size of the i7 I think.
