Tech support needed: Sim card & phone change

I know as much about phones as I know about the surface of Mars..... and I dropped my old Rugby flip phone and it snapped in two. So much for that. Fortunately I have the original phone which I got from Public Mobile, a ZTE F451.
I understand that if I had a SIM card to fit, I could just swap cards and away I go with the ZTE. Unfortunately, the ZTE takes a smaller card. What I need to know is (a) how do I go about getting a new SIM card to operate the ZTE with my phone # & PM account, and (b) how do I recover the data from the Rugby now that the phone is dead and the ZTE won't take the Rugby's card?
Thanks very much for any assistance.

The SIM from Public Mobile should be 3-in-1, so you can just pop out the smaller (micro-sim) or smallest (nano-sim) size accordingly from the existing SIM.

Also, post in the community for fastest response times:

The only way to contact support staff is through that website. You can send a private message to the moderator team and they can help you out.

If he has one of the original sims, he can get it clipped to a smaller size at any cell repair shop as well.

As for recovering data on the old device, it's probably gone for good. You didn't say which Rugby you have.
    Un-Rogered, and getting better 'value'.

You know what, the ZTE F451 is a actually a CDMA phone from when Public Mobile was an independent operator. It has no SIM card and is not compatible with the current Public Mobile network (HSPA / LTE).

Oh no.... There is a space there for a tiny SIM card, it seems.

But I can just buy a phone and order the SIM form PubMo, eh?

Of course, buying a flip phone these days might be a task.

Are you sure it's not a micro SD slot to expand the phone's storage?

Yeah you can buy any compatible phone and just order a new SIM, or cut your existing SIM to use it in the new phone. Just make sure the new phone is compatible and supports the correct technologies and frequency bands.

Create a new post in the PM online community and ask if a certain phone model will work or not.

Your old Public Mobile ZTE does NOT take a sim card. The slot you see is for a Micro SD Card. In case you don't know what a Micro Sd Card is, it is to Expand Storge in your phone so you can take more pictures, add music etc.
