    Roaming on Inmarsat.

Does anyone know of any providers that allow roaming on Inmarsat?
Swisscom lists roaming rates but roaming does not work.
Telekom Slovenije also list Inmarsat as a roaming partner but according to the customer care, they don't have roaming agreement with them??!!

I think you're confused, you cant roam from a cellular network onto a satellite network unless you have a satellite sleeve made for android or iphones that let you use both.

I'm not confused. As per this it's available:
    https://www.inmarsat.com/partners/inmarsat-roaming/

I believe Telstra Australia offers it but cannot verify it on their website. I don't mean roaming on satellite network with you cell phone but placing your cell sim into the satellite phone.

Some countries' cellular carriers have SIM-swap roaming with some satellite phone carriers. The most common roaming agreements are with Thuraya. At one time, Telstra had roaming on Iridium for some accounts. I don't know about INMARSAT. Of course, you'd have to have a compatible satellite handset.

Piranha Mobile lists Globalstar and Thuraya but not INMARSAT. INMARSAT does promote roaming but does not list their partners on this page: https://www.inmarsat.com/partners/inmarsat-roaming/

Edit: Their idea of roaming may have to do with putting a 3G router on the ship and connecting cell customers via satellite, not SIM roaming with an INMARSAT handset.

It is very unclear. When I spoke to Inmarsat support and asked about roaming partners, they gave me names of the re-sellers.
