How long ago was that? TMobile has really improved in many areas over the last few years.

As others have said you're going to have to get a new phone or try T-Mobile. Even then you don't want to use that phone with T-Mobile since it most likely lacks LTE band 12 support.

If you're looking for something cheap there is the Moto E4 on Verizon prepaid for $40 but it'll only work on Verizon prepaid until you give them $70 in payments.

Thank you everyone. I learned from all of you. I'll check out new phones to use on VZ as well as ask others how Tmo works in the area.

The problem with asking others how T-Mobile works in your area it's going to be based on phone support.

The experience you'll see with a phone that supports all of T-Mobile's bands and VoLTE is going to be very different from a phone from at&t that doesn't.

If Verizon offers superior coverage in your area and that's what you're looking for I think the decision is pretty clear than.

From an earlier post you can get a Moto E4 for $40 from Walmart but it'll only work on Verizon prepaid until you give them $70 in payments. I think this would be the cheapest option to get on Verizon with a decent phone

They do have the unlocked Version for $129 that would allow you to use it on a vzw mvno.

Couldn't find anything with cellmapper, however, T-Mobile has service there according to sensorly maps
I wonder why AT&T is so bad for you they have service around the area just not in because it either hasn't been mapped yet or AT&T is still using HSPA there. Anyway here's a map of AT&T
    Verizon's map
And sprint also has service there so maybe try them out aswell.

The Moto E4 Verizon Prepaid version works great with Xfinity Mobile, too, including HD Voice calling. It's $39.88 + applicable tax on Amazon.com.

Thank you for all that mapping. The problem here is that Lakewood Ranch doesn't want any cell towers. I can't see my neighborhood in that map so I'll try to pull it up myself.

Just a reminder, as above, that it will still only work with GSM providers - T-Mobile and AT&T being the only two nationwide GSM providers. A switch to Verizon or Sprint would still require a phone change even though your phone is unlocked.
Not bad for a free unlimited line from Sprint!

Can these maps be done for Zip code 34211? My neighborhood is cut off. I tried to do it on cellmapper, but I'm not getting these maps to show right.

    Thank you!

I lived in Bradenton for awhile last year, while not Lakewood Ranch I had pretty good T-Mobile service, from what I remember that area is covered in TMobile, I don't remember any coverage issues at all, and I was on a cheap $30 plan.
