    Lg Rebel 2 HOW TO?

Just got my new Rebel 2.

First question: How do you take a screen shot with the Rebel 2?

    Thanks in advance, wideload

Same as with most LG phones: press Volume Down and Power buttons at the same time, hold until screenshot is taken, release.

Is there a setting on the Rebel 2 to set the home button to answer a call, like the setting on the U2? If so where did they hide it?

    Thanks, wideload

It usually is found in the phone settings.

Didn't a manual or a paper with a site to find a manual come with the phone?

On the U2, in settings under call, the option for the home button to answer calls is there. On the Rebel 2 I can not find that option.

There's no such option on the Rebel 2. Only the option to end the call using the power button.

Is there a physical home button?
It doesn't look like it has one.

That's the power button on the back, is that right?

Also, does it have the double-tap feature to turn on the display?

The Rebel 2 has no physical button. The power button is on the back. You can double-tap to turn the screen on/off.

If you have the TF MyAccount app installed, run it, log into your account, touch the 3 bars at the upper left, scroll down and see if WiFi Optimizer is enabled. If it is, disable it. When enabled, it will turn on Wifi whenever it sees a Wifi source.

WiFi Optimizer is disabled. Something has happened in the last couple of days. Not only the WiFi problem but the battery life has gone to crap. Phone is only about a month old. Any other ideas?

    Thanks hpham!!!!

Look at the breakdown of battery usage and see if anything is out of the ordinary. Post a screenshot if you can.

See if you can find a list of running apps. If nothing looks suspicious, then try pulling the battery with the phone on. You know, like when your computer gets messed up and you have to kill it.

Battery usage dropped 50% in 4 hours. Found a combination of 3 apps that were using around 50% total, stopped them. I'll see what happens now.

    Thanks everyone!!!!
