    Cricket service during IRMA Catastophe

Just to let you all know that Cricket service has been awesomely great during the hurricane Irma ordeal, we went through the ordeal like over 10 hours of hurricane wind and rain, the destruction and damages are so enormous that we can't describe. As of now over 5 millions still have no power, but Cricket service never failed us the entire storm, data, calls and messages all worked the entire storm.
Whatever you think I don't care, but just to tell the honest truth about Cricket service they never let me down during the storm.
    Thank you

Glad you're ok. I've made a donation to the Red Cross and hoping for a full recovery. Thanks to the parent ATT for keeping the network up.
Get $25 credit by switching to Cricket Wireless! Then $250 by referring others! Same AT&T signal! Click here!

Atl, Ga. Quite a ways from the storm.

Lost high speed data for quite a while. Had email only quality data for 12 - 16 hrs. Periods of no data at all.

    No loss in voice telephony.

Also have Simple Mobile(Tmobile). Also no loss in voice. Total loss of data for 10 - 12 hours. Full high speed data back several hours before Cricket.

My thoughts and prayers are with you, OP. I cannot begin to imagine what it’s like to go through all that loss at once.

I had my service go out in Southwest Orlando for a day. I think it was either heavy network congestion or planned limitations. I had a Verizon iphone, Sprint phone, TMobile iPhones, and all of them had issues.

TMobile was the first to go, the rest just seemed throttled or overloaded.

A storm of that size and magnitude will no doubt have varying degrees of service reliability/disruption across the state. No different than water and electricity.

Didn't someone post in here recently about one little bar that held them out throughout the storm, and how thankful they were since it never went down despite losing power?
For everyone impressed, you're bound to find a hater or two. And of course we have our resident troll, so...

It's so so hard without power for days or weeks, beyond description, you evacuated and when you return your house is inhabitable ! That s what people are going through right now. Thank you so much for your feelings

Thank you so much for your help, yeah, AT&T does great in time of crisis, and the service has been stellar no doubt

I'm near Jax and Cricket held strong all through the storm. In fact I haven't found anywhere that it hasn't functioned as normal. Would of been nice if they had lifted data caps, but in the scheme of things not really a big deal.

I'm impressed the towers held up so well in those weather conditions. Maybe snow and ice is worse on the towers, because we have routine outages up here in the great north though most of the time AT&T is at least as good as Verizon. But, get bad weather or a big event of some sort and service can get pretty bad. However, despite some issues, cell service is far more reliable than landline service which fails regularly with any type of storm because trees take down the lines.
