    No b66 = NO LTE FOR YOU !! ??

I have google Nexus 6p, which, according to frequencycheck.com, does not have Band66.
Does that mean I *cannot* have LTE on my 6P in Toronto with Wind?

    The 6P connects to wind's 3G - I hate it:
    1. lousy battery life as the phone warms my pocket and irradiates my nads.
    2. Meh data rate (~6/1 mbps, from speedtest).
    3. Flaky data connection - apps often hang, waiting for data that never comes.

All of the above is with strong signal strength (close to full bars) within Toronto

Correct, you will not have LTE on your 6P unless you visit Ottawa, Kingston or Peterborough and you are on one of the Freedom Mobile LTE plans.

Ottawa area uses B4. Everywhere else you need B66 or no LTE.

If you are going to keep your phone for a long time, they will launch B13 or B7 LTE in Toronto eventually.

Thanks dudes. The next logical question: does anyone know if Wind has plans to bring non-b66 LTE to Toronto ?

The spectrum they purchased from Videotron will have LTE for "legacy" devices, that is, non band 66. When they will light this up, we have no clue.

With your issues, I'm in East York, and I've gotten at least half LTE speeds on my iPhone (10-15Mbps). But it depends on when I actually pull a speed test from my phone.
