    Mike 800 MHz refarm

So now that Telus has shut down iden and cdma we know that most of cdma has been repurposed for LTE, but what about iden 800 MHz? I believe it’s band 26 LTE on Sprint in the usa has refarmed its iden network for LTE purposes. Does anyone have an idea what Telus 800mhz holdings are and would it make any sagnificant impact to refarm to LTE? Most phones have band 26 LTE now.

Alive as in you’re using the network or you see equipment that hasn’t been removed? It was officially turned off Jan 2017.

Alive as in 5 bars, network identifying as Telus, and time adjusts correctly. Like other subscribers we were cut off in January 2016.

Ok... I have questions since it’s not clear.

Are you saying you have a mike phone and it’s connected to the mike network but you have no network functionality?

    OR

You have a phone capable of band 26 LTE?

Perhaps maybe shaytoon can get in on this as to what’s going on..

Mostly this. I haven't tried dialling 911 yet.
