US Cellular LTE data no longer counts against roaming

I noticed when they updated the coverage map a few days ago, that most of northern New England is now in "extended LTE" which says wont' count against your roaming data allotment and will be treated as native. Up until recently only a couple sites were like this, now it looks like it's all treated as native. I verified over the weekend where I used a couple hundred megs and my roaming usage didn't go up.

    This is awesome!

    *Disclaimer
Just because it doesn’t count towards your data allotment doesn’t mean that Sprint is allowing perma-roaming.

I bet anything they’d kick people off for perma-roaming as would T-Mobile and other carriers who don’t count roaming towards a data allotment.

Just wanted to throw that out there LOL

Likely true, but I'm just glad when I travel now I don't have to worry about staying under 100MB a month.

I can confirm that using 170MB on US Cellular in Northern New Hampshire last week didn't count against my roaming allotment.

Used about 400mb of US Cellular LTE roaming in Rodanthe,NC. Last year my phone data shut off at 300mb and this year it didn’t even count against my allotment
