Field Test Numbers gone with iOS 11?

I just upgraded to iOS 11. It went seamlessly but now the field test numbers I had for signal strength are replaced by 4 bars. The old number I used to enter the Field Test mode still works but the signal strength remains the 4 bars and does not show the numerical strength.

Does anyone know how to get the numerical signal strength back or is it gone for good with iOS 11?

    Thanks.

One of my favorite apps, WunderMap is no longer supported by the creator, and a message said it wouldn't work with iOS 11. I am going to wait before I upgrade anything for a while.

Numerical signal strength via Field Test Mode doesn't work on my Verizon-based SE on iOS 11 installed tonight, either. A Google search indicated this has been true for all the beta versions, too, since the beginning.

Field Test mode works fine on my iPhone 8.

A: No, I would treat her as an equal.

Field test works but it is no longer possible to get the signal strength to stick to the top left corner of the screen.

That is what I was interested in....the signal strength numbers instead of the bars in iOS 11.

Apple better put this back in soon (before X ships early next month) or they might lose me forever.

First they took battery cycles out of iOS 10, now this.

    Unacceptable.

Wow thanks for the headsup! Wont be upgrading until that is fixed, the bars are meaningless. I much prefer the numbers.

I'm contemplating if it's worth it to downgrade to 10.3.3 while I still can..... I didn't do anything of significance on my phone since I backed up with iTunes last night prior to installing 11.0.2, so I wouldn't lose much, just a couple insignificant texts.

My first reaction was that control center was messed up badly (in terms of design and ease of use, not functionality) on iOS 10 and I was upset to lose the battery cycles, but everything else was perfect and there were a lot of cool new things I liked. My first reaction to iOS 11 is that control center was fixed, but notification center was completely destroyed to the point of being completely unusable. I just shut it down, end of story about that.

Now I realize I have problems with the phone shutting off wifi while its being used as a hotspot??? What exactly are the wifi and bluetooth buttons for in control center? I don't get what they hell is going on here? Although I like the new layout design of the control center, the functionality of it has gone down the toilet. And there's no way to get signal strength in numbers instead of bars either??? Even in field test mode, I don't see it on my SE running 11.0.2. Come on, Tim Cook. I own way too much AAPL to not be fuming mad right now.
