Yeah - that would be amazing if they offered the Fudp plan to former Gdup owners.

I'm already paying the $20 increase and my speeds aren't that great either

There should be zero deprio on the gudp lines. I've heard guys say that video on gudp via a hotspot will still be able to hit 1080p. Not sure if it's true of not though. Only 720p via a phone.

I think 720 is good on a phone or tablet but that's just me speaking

I'm still getting 18 down on Fast.com, and Netflix is showing 2160 on my TV, so...

dongatta, what did you end up getting for your plan? I've also got one gudp line and would likely drop it if I could get the fudp. Tired of paying the add'l $20 per mo.

I switched to the FUDP the day after they said it was going away.
My GUDP was going to go up $80 (4 lines) in Nov. and I switched early to avoid the increase.
Right now, I'm paying $40/line access until the contract expires next month.
My plan had been in the $210 range because I also had a $20/line loyalty credit. So I had been paying $10/line for data for years.

Anyway, I'm not seeing any real difference between the GUDP and FUDP.
If you want full video on a tablet or your phone, use a VPN. If you use a VPN they can't grab the video and compress it.
Anyway, the ability to tether on any phone was a good enough reason for me two switch.
I absolutely needed two phone to tether and they were not unbranded, so I didn't have much choice.

    YMMV.
Good intentions will always be pleaded for every assumption of authority. It is hardly too strong to say that the Constitution was made to guard the people against the dangers of good intentions. There are men in all ages who mean to govern well, but they mean to govern. They promise to be good masters, but they mean to be masters. -- Daniel Webster
