    Strange Bluetooth problem iPhone SE

I have an iPhone SE 32gb and I have been running the betas of iOS 11 and am now on the public release version. I have had this problem the whole time and have submitted feedback for it on all builds but it is still happening.

The problem is my Bluetooth will randomly turn on. I don't use Bluetooth so it's not me and I am forgetting to turn it off. I am thinking it has to be an app turning it on but I never see it actually turn on it's just on after a while. I will turn it off and go about my day and hours later sometimes days I look and it's on again. It's driving me mad because I want it off to save the batter life. I don't know who, how, or why it's coming on.

    Please help my sanity!

No clue. I also had that but the GM seems to have fixed it.

Where are you turning off Bluetooth? If you are turning it off from the control center, it won’t be permanent and is designed to turn off Bluetooth temporarily. If you want to turn it of permanently, you need to go to Settings/Bluetooth/off. This is by design in iOS 11.
Q: Would you patronize a streetwalker?

A: No, I would treat her as an equal.

I did not know that. I went into setting and turned it off there. They must have a reason for doing it that way but damned if I know what it is.

Thank you for the help. I just hope it really stays off this time.

It is the same for Wi-Fi and cellular from the Control Center.

From Apple’s iOS 11 user guide and the Control Center:

“Disconnect from Bluetooth devices. Tap . To allow connections, tap the button again.

Because Bluetooth isn’t turned off when you disconnect from devices, location accuracy and other services are still enabled. To turn off Bluetooth, go to Settings*> Bluetooth. To turn on Bluetooth again in Control Center, tap . For information about turning Bluetooth on or off in Control Center while in airplane mode, see Travel with iPhone.”

They should make a mention of it somewhere. I was halfway into making a foil hat. Thought the nsa was watching me or something.

I doubt it saves enough battery to matter either, but at least you admit to having issues a tin foil hat might address
