    Note 8 in thailand

If you buy a Note 8 in the USA at a carrier such as Verizon or Sprint can you use it in Thailand by swapping the SIM?

And in a related question can you roam internationally in Thailand with it?

Samsung is notorious for customizing (crippling) their phones to work best on only the carrier that sold it. The Samsung website doesn't even show the band specs for the Note 8. It says only, "May differ by markets and mobile operators." GSMarena.com does not provide LTE band specs for this phone. Most phones sold in the US are SIM locked to the carrier that sells them. It would be difficult to give you advice on this subject.
