^No you don't. You actually have to pay for the entire plan in full again.

Freedom does actually prorate prepaid Pay Before when you make a plan change. But because you are 1 week in, the amount of credit returned to your account balance gets rounded down in 10 day blocks (gets round down to 0 days/$0 refunded). The amount charged for your new plan gets rounded up to the full amount of the plan because there are more than 20 days remaining in the billing cycle.

There are other combinations of days remaining in a billing cycle that does result in partial month proration, but it's done in a very unfair and unfavorable way to the customer. (ie. rounding down on refunds but rounding up charging for new plan).

To be fair, there are some other carriers won't prorate at all for a prepaid plan change.
