    iOS 11 issues

Iím noticing that my phone will lock up at times for like 10 to 20 seconds.Pressing the home button, or the power button yields nothing. Iím hoping Apple will come up with an update soon because this gets kind of annoying at times. Anybody else experienced this? This is happening on my iPhone 6s Plus.

There are innumerable reports on the Apple forum about problems with iOS 11 affecting basic functionality, connections to peripherals and other problems.

Iíve also noticed some app incompatibilities as well. Apps that I downloaded years ago that havenít been updated in a while are no longer operational on iOS 11. The developer for some reason or another hasnít updated in a long long time.

iOS 11 has dropped support for 32-bit apps. If the developer does not have a 64-bit version, you are SOL.

Apple warned most of 2017 when I opened a non compatible 32-bit app which the developer finally updated in July. Another 32-bit app the developer went under and the original app was pulled.

My 6S is slow to respond at times and some apps are slower when opening. I view the iOS 11 update as Cook slowly killing Apple.

Some apps might just not be optimized. I have iOS 11 on my business iPhone 6 and itís very fluid and snappy.

No issues with my 6S plus as far as being snappy. Itís actually smoother with iOS 11.

Iím not too worried about some of those apps, as I barely use a lot of them anyways. Thereís one or two I kind a wish I could keep. But Iíll just download a different version thatís optimized for iOS 11.

On 11.0.1 battery seems to drain faster than 10.3

My slowness comment is probably apps that need to be optimized for iOS 11.

I loaded 11.1 this am and I have watched about half of the blue jay baseball game, I started off at 92 % and I am now at 69% so I am no expert but I don't think that the battery lose was that bad, let me know.

That could very well be. Time to complain to the App maker.
