Verizon refused to sell me an iPhone X this morning for having a prepaid account.

The said prepaid won’t activate for 30 days. Never had this problem before.

With the very limited number of the phone available at launch, especially according to reports at carrier stores, they are likely limiting it to customers who may sign a DPP for 2 years on the phone.
I gave into temptation, and bought the iPhone X, even though I had a perfectly good, though oversized, 7+.

Their website's prepaid device page for this phone says that they will ship on 12/1 if you order from them online this way.

Typical stores wanting to maximize commissions by the finance agreements. Amazing how they come up with their own in store policies this way. Guarantee if you ask their social support, they’ll say there’s no such policy.

Not likely a company policy, but store can set their own sales policy.

Personally I'd ignore the store and just buy it directly from Apple.

The people in the stores could really care about customer service or what are with the customer needs and they are just there for their commission to the point of making up lies... I'm sure there's exceptions and there's good people but that seems to be the exception.

Personally, I think they need to cut the commission and just pay people a fair hourly to avoid this crap.
