    Prepaid Family Account

Looks like Verizon Prepaid is catching up to AT&T and offering multi-line discounts on prepaid. Nice.

Do the discounts only apply if both lines are in the same data bucket amount? I know that if I choose two lines with 7 GB each, it would cost $50 for the first line and $35 for the second line. What if I choose the first line at 7GB ($50) and the second line at 3GB. What would my discount be for the second line?

    I'm assuming you'd get $10 off.

I may give up my ATT retentions plan for this. Just to clarify, does vzw prepaid have VoLTE and wifi calling on iPhone 7's?

Sucks that they have no visual voicemail for Android but MVNOs are getting access. Hopefully that changes.

Be careful they prorate whatever lines you bring over to your main account to the main lines renew date. I combined my wifes number to mine and they inadvertently shorted me about $15. Got back on chat and they fixed it.

Keep in mind when combining plans that line 2 gets the discount not line 1. I would prefer to up my data bucket but since Im line 1 i dont think i would see the $15 discount. I may see if i can make my line the second line on the account tomorrow. I think Ive harassed them enough for one day :P

Also curiously the monthly dues pull from line 1 but my line 2 has its own separate credit. Not sure why but ill try to combine the credits tomorrow.

I just merged my sister's account with mine. Easy to do and looks like a great deal. We'll pay about $42 per line for 7 GB each. Also, according to Customer Service I should still receive the 2GB Walmart promo on my line. Let's see if that's true next month...

My plan renews on the 9th. I'll update whether im still getting the +1 GB free promo. The price was so good i bumped my plan up to the 7 GB option. Its still $5 cheaper than what i was paying for the old 3 GB plan. $50 plan - $15 line discount.

To the other guy, i believe we have VOLTE. I dont think wifi calling works on my Iphone 7 though.

Im an idiot, went into settings and looks like it works perfect on my Iphone 7. Had to go in and put in my address and enable the feature. Then i put phone on airplane mode and connected to work wifi. Calls went through perfect.

I wonder why it wouldn't work on the iPhone 7? It works with my 6S and it worked on my old 6 as well. Very interesting.
