No thanks, you can't deliver on promos you already have in place: e.g. referral rewards. If you want to gain new business, reward your existing customers - they will bring you more customers. No one cares if you give new accounts an extra gig for just 30 days.

I will repost this here, because perhaps you will read this thread.

    I am a 90% satisfied customer.

The 10% dissatisfaction is the 3 days a month when H2O badgers me with payment reminders, despite the fact that I am an auto-pay customer.

Can you please help me understand why H2O wireless does this?

They most likely do not have a system that separates auto-pay customers and non auto-pay customers.

In my account settings online, I can see that the AutoPay switch is on. Therefore, they clearly know which customers have AutoPay and which do not.

I'm not a programmer by any means, but it should be a matter of adding one line of code to the system that sends payment reminders.

    IF (AutoPay=ON) THEN (reminders=OFF)

Of course, if their payment/customer database isn't integrated with the system that sends reminders, you're right. But why wouldn't it be??

I can only speculate but this reason seems like the only legit reason as to why not. Maybe something like auto-pay notification is extra $$ and H2O opt not to pay. Maybe it was just an oversight. Typically small business cut corners.

    Hello eggsalad!

I apologize for the inconvenience. The answer is that we run off two types of platforms for end user communication. The automated one that is linked to our account database is operated by our service provider's platform. Although we can modify our in-house systems at will, the service provider's platform is difficult to modify for many reasons. You can change your SMS settings from h2o's online account page, but the audio reminder that occurs once a day is pending. We are working to resolve this however, so your patience is appreciated. Thank you!

I'm looking at the "My Account" page on the H2O website, and I don't see anywhere, on any page, to change SMS settings. Can you please provide more specific instructions? Thanks!
