    Surprised not mentioned - 10gb for $50

When looking through these forums and comparing prepaid plans I was surprised that there was no mention of this T-Mobile plan. Pretty good deal.

I saw that yesterday while shopping around but assumed it was a limited teaser rate. No?

Its limited time supposedly, no expiration specified but I assume if you signup you stay on the plan as long as you keep it going

Nice find! Especially when considering Cricket gave up their Smart plan $50 for 8gb.

Wonder if I can use one of my old unactivated .99 sims from way back.
What's tax and fees bring the total per month to? I wouldn't mind sticking with true T-Mobile and getting the Binge On and the speed benefits (vs MintSim).

*Just noticed you can sign up for a free sim in-store only

Does T-Mobile prepaid also include 2 hours of GoGo inflight wifi? I know the One Plus offers unlimited but I thought other plans offer 2 hours, not sure if that is just postpaid though

Mint sim has the same thing for $25 month when you buy 3months at a time.

Looking at the prepaid plans comparison page, no. Only One Plus gets GoGo.

I ordered a sim kit for this plan through BB to try out the speed. If it stinks I'd be willing to spend for $50 plan (assuming it's still available).

Also, I do not know why I did not see this thread:
    http://www.howardforums.com/showthre...of-Data-for-50

When I go to T-Mobile Prepaid forum landing page , it shows me a handful of threads but I do not see page navigation. I found the thread from the similar threads link below. So intention was not to create a duplicate thread if it is considered one. Nevertheless I am glad I was able to make people aware of this deal that weren't

Maybe change the default display option below. Mine says threads since Last Month, change it when you want to see further back.

Varies by state. Mine ended up being $56.03 after taxes & fees

    2 issues with Mint SIM:
    1) No roaming
    2) D/L throttled at 20Mbps

I was on Mint SIM for 2 months. IMHO, 20Mbps is enough to get things done but the no roaming made it pretty much useless for me. I then went to the T-Mobile 10GB prepaid plan for 3 months then decided it worked well enough that I switched to post paid unlimited for $70 (incl taxes & fees). Unlimited prepaid is $75 +taxes & fees.
Also, should you leave Mint SIM, you have to call CS and get your account number and they'll ask why you need it & why you're leaving.

Thanks. I'm doing the opposite, I ordered a Mint Sim kit last week. Going to try it out then switch to TMobile 10GB/$50 if I don't like it (and hope the offer is still available). Only plan on using it for data so don't care about keeping the #, have other lines for voice. I do like TM prepaid service and perks, though.
