Will add a feature broke the 5 lines for $100 grandfather plan?

    Hi,

In the 5gb plan, we can add the feature for Canada/Mexico roaming for $5. Will that break the grandfather plan? And I can remove that feature the next month after back to US and still in the grandfather plan, right?

    Thanks!

Where do you find that add on for the Canada/Mexico roaming feature?

I thought Mexico and Cannukistan were already included.

On a side hijack, I'm in a group now and plan on leaving in Jan, they will have to get a new person. Does that screw everyone else in the plan?

The way I read it the $5 dollar add on is for calls to international destinations from the us only.

Canada/Mexico roaming is only on plans $50 and higher.

Not if you leave your cricket number. They can get someone else to take the number over and use google voice. Otherwise, you porting out will be an account change. It would be nice if they could extract your line from the group and replace it with another, but that's not how they work.

That's how I read it too. Here is the excerpt:

    Cricket International, $5/mo
With Cricket International, you can keep in touch with friends and family around the world for one low rate.
Get unlimited calling to landlines in 36 countries from the U.S., including Argentina and Paraguay, the UK, Brazil, Nigeria, and Israel.
Add this feature to your monthly plan and cancel at anytime. For the best value, add Cricket International to your account at the beginning of your monthly billing cycle.
TIP: All plans from $50/mo include unlimited text messages (SMS) from the U.S. to 38 countries, plus calls and messages from the U.S. to Mexico and Canada and roaming calls and texts (SMS only) to local numbers in Mexico and Canada and back to the U.S.

It's best to ask, then ask again then ask customer service, and make a note of techs name date etc. Even with ask that you can still have issues.
