    Cricket responds with new plans?

Looks Cricket is changing around some plans soon...

    $30/mo 2GB
    $40 ($35 auto pay) 5GB
    $55 ($50) Unlimited 2 max speed 3 mbps
    $60 ($55) Unlimited high-speed data

Appears 5 lines for $100 going to $130 but each line is also getting data increase from 4GB to 5GB each.

Where did you see this at? Curious...

(Also, ergh. They need to drop the Unlimited 2 to $50 instead of $55.)
Internet on a Blackberry Priv with the Cricket 8Mbps plan. Not bad for a $20 fifth line on the family plan!

Prices aren't bad. A friend could benefit from the 2gb for $30. With his low usage he's paying TMobile $60 for 2gb and just the other day said he's def over paying for low data usage

Yeah, but auto-pay doesn't stack with the group save. I think it needs a $10 differential versus the regular unlimited to be worth it.

Guess Cricket is trying to price themselves out. For now, their price plan is still superior per line with the data, but some other firms are catching up. I've just browsed around and found 2 close competitors. While the data don't match up, for my family, the international calls come in handy.

H2O - they offer 4 lines for $100 with each line having 2GB. However, there's unlimited call to 50 nations, unlimited int'l texts. Add another line would cost your $30 (this is regular line which get you 3GB). H2O uses ATT towers.

Red Pocket - if you can get away with 500Meg , 500 voices, 500 texts, it's $10 /month /line. If you do go up to unlimited voice/texts/1GB data, that's $19. Free unlimited int'l nation call to 72 nations. You also have choices of using either TMo/ATT/Verizon towers. You can also get bigger discount if you buy a whole year off ebay/Amazon.

hope this isn't true, $130 from $100 is quite the jump... Didn't really care about $110 last year, and $120 still isn't terrible, but this is an mvno with less features and worse customer service, $130 for 5 lines is getting close to the cost of unlimited data for 5 lines on T-Mobile, and that comes with loads of features including hotspot and free netflix, and promised network investment... ($180) Wouldn't be a big deal if the $30 plan was made group save eligible though. I guess it's still not terrible.

Hope we’re grandfathered. I could live with five lines with 4gb for $10. The extra gb for add'l $30 is not worth it.

If we aren't grandfathered in I'll jump to total wireless .. I would get.more.data (2 lines don't use that much) and close.ro $100 price

Why are both $70 and $100 mentioned in the ad?

So no $50, 8Gb plan? I'm disappointed if they are removing that one.

It's a design mockup and nothing official.
