When do new phone models get introduced?

I understand that there are a few times each year when manufactures traditionally introduce new phones. I was wondering if we might see some more band-71 compatible phones introduced this calendar year.

Hard to say with any certainty. Keep checking various internet sites for updates. Typically, each manufacturer has a different release date each year.
If I'm annoyed and you're annoyed, does that make us a paranoid ??

The next big release is the LG g series and Samsung's Galaxy s line. Those will be early 2017, then for spring early summer Moto will be releasing the new g device, then for mid tier early/mid summer you get stuff like the new Stylo, Samsung's new j series (which usually is last year's model with a few add-ons.) Towards the end of summer you see the new note/iPhone/pixel and v series devices. Then it starts up all over again lol LG and Moto release different devices throughout the year also. You will likely see a new k series device, a new z series device, a new x series device (ironically from both lg and Moto) and so on. Those release dates are tougher to pinpoint as they really don't have any history of being released at certain times of the year.

At the MWC which stands for Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, 26 February – 1 March 2018. The WMC has replaced the Consumer Electronics Show for phones being introduced but some smaller cell phone brands will still use the CES in January 9-12, 2018 Las Vegas, NV.

Qualcom is adding Band 71 to all levels of it's SOC and is supplying samples now but hasn't ramped up production last time they talked.

This year? Very unlikely. The only phone we have left to see is a new one from HTC. Generally you have a bunch that come out in the spring and then a bunch in the fall. Don't expect any new flagship phones until spring.

I think this S8 Active is the last B71 phone we see in 2017. However the AT&T still has a exclusive agreement with Samsung on the Active phones that will have to be killed or expire first. T-Mobile said Samsung would launch their B71 phone in the Holiday shopping time frame which sould be Black Friday on Nov 24th. The Galaxy S8 Active will be the best phone to launch on T-Mobile this year

Yes the u 11 plus is coming from HTC. Should be interesting. The u 11 is a nice device that is pretty underrated. TMobile is supposedly also getting the u11 life. The u11 life is a mid-range device though.
