5 lines on unlimited 2 for $125 (not yet confirmed)

Not yet confirmed, just have a post on reddit to go from. Supposed to go into effect on 12/01.

Hopefully this pans out. We have 2 people on unlimited 2 and 3 people on 5GB per month - paying $130. Looks like this would get us all on unlimited 2 for $5 less than we're paying now.

I've had unlimited 2 for a few months and watch a fair amount of Netflix, I've never noticed a problem with the speed cap.

Seems like a response to the metro 4 for $100 promo as they match that price for just 4 lines. Doubt they will do anything with the group plans on the 5gb basic plan. Wonder if they are trying to get all those group plans on the 3mb speed cap plans with this promo.

Is the current plan unlimited for $155 with 8 Mbps speed cap?

Unlimited 2 is capped at 3mb.

    Unlimited is capped at 8.

    The 5 for $155 is unlimited 2.

Hmmmmm this is tempting. The unlimited 2 has Mexico/Canada calling. Also my daughters are using lots of data recently getting over 5gb. That’s how I temporarily lost grandfathered discount by adding 1gb.
    Very tempting. Limited time promo.
Get $25 credit by switching to Cricket Wireless! Then $250 by referring others! Same AT&T signal! Click here!

Wasn't the 5 line/$100 deal originally a limited time offer, or the deal itself was set to expire?

This is something that might get me back on Cricket. I've been researching plans and tbh $155 is pretty close to $180 from the other carriers when considering they offering phone BOGO offers and free Netflix/HBO etc. I really hope this pans out because I'm kinda sick of my T-Mo voice quality lately and I'm ready for a new carrier.

I'm a bit skeptical since both 4 lines and 5 lines are $25 each. That seems kinda weird. But if true I think that would def be my next carrier.

My question is: whether 3mbps is fast enough to watch Netflix (Hulu, Amazon, etc.) using an app on your phone, and mirroring to a 24" TV, let's say.

This works fine now, on unlimited @ 8mbps. If we switched to the unlimited 2 @ 3mbps, and it was NOT fast enough, there'd be no going back to our grandfathered Group Save.

I'm currently paying for 4 lines of 5gb data and 1 Unlimited for $120. This unlimited2 pricing is good but I will not sacrifice my current 8mbps for 3mbps. I like to stream my local news while going to work in the mornings.
