    Unlock App doesnt work

    I have a J7 Prime and the unlock app refuses to work. I have factory reset, cleared cache and app data, and nothing works. Other phones on my account the app works fine.

    The error message is: Server not responding. Please try again later.
    MetroPCS: Currently have 7 lines with Metro.

    5 Galaxy J3 Primes
    1 LG K20 Plus
    1 Galaxy J7 Prime

    Aw man. Hope all the J7P's don't do that.

    Hope to be using the app on mine a little over a month from now.

    Ive had it a couple of months, but I have always been able to use it. It would just say Not Approved. not eligible for unlock. This time it just says server not responding

    Update the software of the phone then try again

    I had the same error. Turned off Wifi, and then it worked fine (well, it told me I couldn't unlock )

    There’s a post or two on SD about problems unlocking J7s based on whether they were made in China or Vietnam. Maybe this is related to your problem?

    Alright so I found that one person saying that the ones made in vietnam are not unlockable and the ones made in china work fine... I checked mine, made in vietnam

    Guess you have to wait 90 days then? Bizarre that the country of manufacture makes such a difference.
