What's Up with the new Rules??

I have to vent my anger, the new rules about bumping have become annoying. First they closed your thread. Now a new message comes up to tell you you have to wait 48hrs.

What's next?? You visit the site too much and only allow you 15 minutes of viewing?

Am I on my own about this or does anyone else feel this way??

I have no problem yet hehe, even tho I have been warned once about bumping a thread.
But I think they are a little strict, cuz in the B/S/T section there are lotta warnnings about bumping and I see some closed threads because somebody broke the rules.

Many ppl who didn't notice the new rules complained when moderators closed their threads. Now the moderators don't need to step in anymore so I don't know what ppl are complaining about.

If you want to sell stuff you could always pay a %age of your sale and go to ebay.

How tuff we have become!!! If it wasn't for the large volume of b/s/t'r when the forum began, I don't think your forum would have been what it is today.
Just remember Howard, without your members this forum does not exist.
One by one they go to another forum such as www.redflagdeals.com , you may only be pushing them to do so.

If such happens and viewer numbers decline, so to does your advertising revenue.

most people come to HoFo for INFO...B/S/T, is an added forum for us who are addicted to phones to "get rid" of our present phone so as to get whatever is new and then there are a few who wish to 'profit' without paying a little rent..."subscribing" is not rent it's contributing to a site LOADED with info related to cell technology.
remember, you're competing against "paying" advertisers, but you don't see them or Howard calling "foul" on sellers in the B/S/T, who most aren't even subscribers???!!! would you rather see a fee enforced or a few simple rules??

The rules have become a little too much, the one that bugs me the most is that we can't posted "free bump for a great seller" and "check pm" but this is Howard's site and there isn't much we can do execpt leave hofo.... and I don't wanna do that

we don't need people like you in HoFo. if you don't like the site, go ahead and transfer to other forums. HoFo is still the best!

if you don't like the rules, go to Ebay and pay a fee to sell your stuff.

do you contribute anything to this forum? how? you're just here selling your phones and making money from it.

there's more to hofo than just the b/s/t...

if anything, the members that don't post anywhere but the b/s/t have totally missed the point of hofo; the b/s/t is meant to be a place where forum members can buy, sell, or trade their stuff -- not the focus of the forums
