I am surprised to hear that Sony Ericsson would allow for T68m to be flashed into a T68i. It can totally keep two price tier on T68m and T68i. For example US$550 for T68i and US$450 for T68m. And I bet there will be people buying into both tiers.
But once it has allow for the flashing, we customers would benefit from it. So I say the price would probably be arround $350 - $450 for a while until May when the P800 comes out, at $600, I think.

I am not sure, but my guess is that the T68m is going to be discontinued in a while since T68i is out in the market. Flashing the T68m to T68i is available of the existing users of T68m who want to convert it to T68i. Otherwise why should somebody pay $100 or more to get the T68i if he can get the T68m and have it flashed the same day?

If you look at Germany for example the T68i is not that much more than a T68m.
You are talking 10 Euros wich is just under 10$ US.
It is the US market that keep the price high since both are not official available and the flash for the T68m is not available yet either.

Check www.fonmarkt.de for the prices in EURO.

I do not think that the price will go below the 350-370$ US mark. The T66 is still quite expensive when you compare it to the T39m which has way more features and it fits right in line with the new P800 coming out by fall which I believe will be around 600$.

Why would you be so surprised? The T68m was sold with the exact functionality included in the T68i. Unfortunately, when we all got the phones things like MMS, picture phone book, etc. were missing. Consumer laws being what they are, it would be impossible to not provide this functionality to T68m owners. I still have the original T68m press release and product brochure when the phone first came out and it identical in specification to the T68i. Boy, was I surprised when I got my T68m in October without all of this stuff considering I thought (and did) I paid for it.
