    NOKIA PT-2: Observation Camera

    Has any one seen this for nokia phones? I saw it on there web site. and it looks interesting. I was wondering if any one knows more about it an dhow it works?

    WERE DID YOU GET IT!! I want one? how does it work? do you have to get service for it? is it all wireless? i just want to know how it works and sends pics to your phone?

    i got it from a wireless security company in PA...

    You have to have a GSM SIM card with MMS activated.

    You can cofigure it via a direct cable connection to a computer, or you can simply configure it by sending it SMS codes.

    It's completely wireless (minus the power cord)-

    within the software, you configure it to let it know which phone numbers it should accept SMS requests from...so that not just anyone can spy on you.

    You can have the images forwarded to an email address...
    the camera can be triggered to send you a picture when it detects motion, or when the temperature reaches a certain level in the surrounding environment.

    so the camera it self has to have its own service?

    correct...it uses it's own sim, has it's own phone number, etc.
