I love all those cars menttioned because I like the technical aspect like ECU/ECM tuning, engine mods, in-vehicle electronics, rapid prototyping, fabrication, etc.
However, right now, for economic reasons I drive a 1990 Geo Storm at 42 MPG. I think it may soon qualify for historical plate (no more annual registration fees!).
Nice, how is it running? I think those two run on the same platform (or is that the new Volvo S40 that came out in 2005?). I also own a 3, but I have a feeling I would much prefer this car, as I find the three lacking in refinement and ride quality.
1995 Honda Del Sol Si VTEC. The kid before me put a custom paint job on it, had a straight pipe, and I think he put a new intake on it. But he tried (and failed) get fancy with the stereo. I got one speaker out of six. Instead of buying an adapter, he cut the wires and tried to manually wire it up. I think I'm going to pay to have that fixed.
Kid had SOMETHING in the trunk. There's a big white Monster cable running along the console between the seats and back into the trunk. Sub, probably. I don't mind the stuff he kept. I just want a stereo I can listen to at 70mph with the top off. A simple 50W system would be fine by me.
