1st of all I paid for the IS myself, so there is no need to get all butt hurt about it. second i didn't tell my dad to go to college for 8 years and become a surgeon, so why should i feel guilty if he wants to buy me a H2????
No, I don't follow hockey at all so I could care less if the Canucks won or lost.
You can go ahead and get mad at me, because I'm not jealous of your car at all. I just don't like you because more than half of your posts are about showing off, that's the only reason. You can ignore me if you'd like...
This kid's attitude seems about typical of a lot of IS drivers under the age of 25. They're all convinced the world is jealous of their car. If they get pulled over, it's because the cop was jealous of his car. If their gf dumps them, she was jealous of the car. If a guy wants to fight him, it must be because he is jealous of the car....
Few of them realize that in or out of the car, they may just be a$$holes.
Even fewer realize that the IS is a relativele cheap car. You can buy a new IS for less than most American full-sized pickups... and I'm certainly not jealous of Dodge Ram drivers.
A lot of them also seem to be confused with the 'bought it myself' concept. If you buy the thing with the allowance money you saved up, then Daddy bought it. Doesn't make a difference to me, I'd be all over that deal if my parents had the money. Of course, my head's not up my own *** so I would realize who really paid for it.

justin for president!!!
PSA: karibOS is FEMALE
karibOS v6.17
lisa: "the simpsons are going to canada!" homer: "awwww, why leave America to go to america, jr.?"
I am not ashamed that my RSX was basically bought by my parents, even though I pay for it by working. I work for my parents and they pay me and I pay for the car that way, but I still don't brag that I bought it by myself.
My opinion is, anyone who buys the H2, buys it to show off and brag about it. Let's face it, that car ain't got performance, looks, quality or anything. The only thing it has is 'bling bling'.

hey now, bro im not like that @ all.... its just a car.. with alot of potential
most the enthusiasts i know arent like that.. all my fellow IS drivers are pretty humble, down to earth good natured folks.
It's not all... but there are a definitely a good number of them.
Go to IS300.net and start a thread about getting pulled over and that the cop was rude to you probably because he was jealous. I guarantee you'll get 5 people agreeing with you within an hour or two.
Sure, most will disagree.... but it's the delusional teens that worry me.
1st of all 1/2 of my posts are not about showing off....the title of the thread ios what car do you drive? all i did was mention what cars i drive. i am quite aware of the costs of an Is and what they are in comparison to other cars. I dont think that i am a better or worse person for driving anything. i am confused why all of the sudden a group of peole are jumping on my back, since i have in no way instigated anything wiht anyone.
Here's what I drive:
Primary:
2002 GMC Sierra 2500 Ext. Cab 4x4
Summit White with black interior.
Loaded, 600W Amp added, XM added,
Infinity Perfect 6.5" components added,
JL Audio 12W6 added, 20% Window Tint
(all around).
Secondary*:
2001 GMC Sierra 1500 Ext. Cab Z71
Dark Toreador Red with black interior.
Loaded, Stock.
The primary vehicle I love, but I'm going to be getting rid of it. It has low mileage, perfect paint, and is kept spotless, but I need something more efficient as a primary automobile. I test drove a GMC Canyon (which my former workplace -- I was in sales/service -- has not gotten in yet) which was a "Property of GM" vehicle. These things are supposed to be hitting most lots towards the end of December, and mainstreaming in January. I have to say that I liked what I drove. The seats were comfortable, the interior was roomy (crew cab), the handling was great (and it was raining, too), the traction was great, the power was excellent -- much more acceleration than the previous Vortec 4300 4.3L V6 -- this is the Vortec 3500 3.5L I5. And the turn signals... The relay is on the correct side of the dashboard; it also now makes a "Boing" type of sound instead of a "Tick-Tock." The new relay is pretty cool actually, different to say the least. I really love the Canyon (Colorado, the Chevrolet reflection).
*The 2001 is actually my parents'. They live a mere sixty miles away from me. Whenever I need to use a truck, they are more than willing to let me borrow theirs. They're too old to need to pull toys
