That looks like it's in beautiful shape. I'd like to get one of those one day. Could you post a picture of the engine? If you don't mind saying, how much did you pay for her?
Will try to round up a few more. Just been busy with work lately.
This is a Odd-Fire, V-6, mechanical fuel injected PRV Engine. Stock... it is only 130HP... good enough for my commuter driving. What you are looking at on top is the air filter straddled over the intake manifold. Further back (actually forward, since the engine is in the back), you can see the fuel distributor (thing with all the hoses coming out of it. I plan on refitting this with new stainless steel braided lines.
When I get more pics together, I will post a link to my website for those who want to see more. For now I have "To Do" and "Work Done" logs.

Here's the pics... 1981 DeLorean VIN#2447 w/AutoTrans, 38k miles. Drove it home over Memorial weekend this year...
Wow! your car still looks like brand new, it's excellent. Must've spent a lot of money to keep them clean and shine, eh. BTW, are you the 1st owner of this car since 1981?
My guess is the air comes in from the bottom right of the pic and into the black covering, the silverish looking hose/pipe hugging the reservoir on the right. At least thats what it looks like to me.

You got it... The silverish hose on by the coolant reservoir is actually the part of the air intake that goes to a "stove" for preheating the incoming air. There is a thermal damper that switches from the stove and the regular air path that comes from an intake just behind the right rear window panel (hard to see in the pics, but it is a mirror image of the left side.)
I don't yet have my license, but I have an old, '86 BMW 316 waiting in carage.
I know it's nothing to brag about, but it's my first car, so if (more like when...) I get it scratched and all, it won't irritate that much.

That's better than most kids get for their first car!
