Z600, CINGULAR and MMS

I activated my MMS service on Cingular. The Z600 SENDS fine. Checking SENT ITEMS will show my attached pic and play sound.

The PROBLEM is that when RECEIVING, the Z600 gets the pic and the text but doesn't playback the sound.

Swapping SIMs to my T616, it all works as "advertised." SE claims that since the phone isn't officially supported in the U.S., it's probably firmware, but they wouldn't confirm.

Anyone got a Z600 that RECEIVES MMS and plays attached sounds?

I'm trying one last post to BUMP this thread up. Here's the status as of now:

Having a tough time figuring this one out. I enabled MMS with Cinuglar. All works fine on my P800 and my T616 (using one SIM card, btw, for all phones).

On my Z600, however, I have no problem SENDING MMS messages but when receiving them, I don't receive the sound.

If I try sending to myself on the Z600, the complete MMS, sound included, is available in the LAST SENT ITEM "folder." However, the received MMS has picture and text but no sound.

When checking the "information" on the outgoing vs the incoming -- the outgoing might be 9Kb whereas the one received without sound might be 2kb.

At first, I thought it might be firmware related (I guess it still might be) but someone told me that they have MMS working with T-Mob and, on their Z600, they don't have this issue.

I've gone through the settings a dozen times and see nothing in the menus that would cause this.

I figured it was time to put this out so that maybe someone more knowledgeable than I am might be able to headscratch their way into a solution.
