Red face Suspension of Bell Line

I was just wondering if anyone knows how long you can suspend your contract with Bell Mobility. I am thinking of leaving Bell because i like the new Telus picture phones. My problem is that my contract with Bell expires in 2005. Is there anyway a can suspend my line for any duration of time? Also, does anyone know if Bell will have any new picture phones coming out very soon that won't cost over $500?

You can suspend your line for as long as you want, as for other phones under $500 with built in camera, your guess is as good as mine.

Bell Mobility is releasing three more camera phones in Q1 of next year, all lower priced than the a600.

At least one will be under the $500 price tag

    Greetings,

While suspending your line, you'll be charged the System Access Fee and the 911 fee. If you'r over a year from the end of your BM contract, cancel your service and pay the $100 instead.

Close. You're charged $7.50/month, + the 911 25 cent fee...taxes included, you'll pay $8.91/month on suspension. Unless you've left the country, suspension is usually capped at 3 months. And the dealers on this board would know better about picture phones - I assume you mean camera phones, since you can download jpegs as screensavers on most of the new phones available now.
Dear customer: if stupidity ever reaches $40 a barrel, can I have the drilling rights to your head?

There is no System Access Fee with suspension. Just 911.

$7.75+$0.25 multiplied by amount of months left on contract.

Which is less? Cancellation charge or suspension, is usually how people decide.

    Actually you're both right.

If you are on a Bell Mobility account, it's $7.50 + $0.25 per month (A911).

If you are on a MOBILITY CANADA account (generally corporate accounts or Bell Wireless Alliance members - Sasktel, Aliant, Telebec, etc.), you are billed the $7.50 + $0.25, **AND** the System Access Fee $6.95 per month.
