SE T616 Ringtones Compatible with Samsung V205/V200?

Well, the questions seems to be pretty clear...
Are SE T616 Ringtones Compatible with Samsung V205/V200?

The reason why I'm asking is this, I have recently had my SE T616 stolen and I'm thinking of purchasing a V205 as my next phone (No, we're not here to debate my choice, hate when this happens... lets just say, the T616 screen wasn't too great in the sun. end of story).

They both support polyphonic ringtones so I'm assuming the V205 will support it, but I hear the file name is different...

Can anyone clearify this? I'll be posting this in the samsung forum as well (Why didn't I post in the samsung forum first? God knows why!)

I hope you guys won't be flaming me for my choice, but helping me out.... isn't that what we do at hofo?! Thanks a lot guys!

I never think SS v200 is a good phone. Expensive but
No Advance function. If T610 screen is not good
enough for you, Wait a short period for T630, TFT will
    not let you down.

That is correct. But I do not know whether midi's can be encoded into mmf... and if it can, would the quality degrade?

yeah midi's can be converted to mmf, I've done this a few times myself. after they are converted, they don't sound as crisp as the midi's, I hope this helps.

No matter how good ur phone is, but if the ringer on the phone is so low volume and the vibrate is so soft that you miss 8/10 calls, what's the point of having a phone?

Samsung makes good phones, hardware-wise. They dont' have a good software like SE does but generally if you asking about ringtones, Samsung one is unbeatable now on the market. Loud, 40 poly, clear! It's one of the selling point of Samsung phones.
Even tho T610 has 32 chrod, it's still really soft and so low that most of the time cannot be heard.

Also little off topic, compare the reception of V200 and T610, V200 blows T610 into the middle of the pacific ocean. That's why i always say, SE has good software but what's the point of it if they can't even make the basic function work properly? (ring, reception)

Also as for file format, you'll need to convert from MIDI to MMF file using psmplayer. You can add vibrate and flashing for the ringtones too.

Even my S105 has a better screen compared to my friend's T610

*PS*: The S105 is more than a year old since it's introduced to the market
