By the way, Winwap 3.1 is a great tool to browse through these sites on your PC as they would be shown on your phones browser without having to fumble with the numpad...

If you are on AIM through SMS and you can't sign off, that's bad. If your signed on through WAP, those messages do not count towards your SMS bucket. I've been using it for 2 months and those WAP Push notifiactions do not count.
Im on AIM thru WAP, but even after the gprs is off, I still get messages, is that using gprs or sms?Originally posted by usafturtle

I tried to check the messages on my phone and it can't connect to the AIM messages! I get the "Response Unknown" message. So whats the point of it sending messages to my phone and I can't even check it

First of all: This should be sticky!
Next, is there a tool where I can send URL to my phone? I'd hate to have to type all of these using the phone buttons on Nokia 6600.
TIA
Back with VZW.
Another good WAP site (that happens to be the default page for the TREO 600) is http://www.handspring.com/mobileportal
Great work by OVurt and great thread. I have now set the homepage on my unlocked Z600 to the Handspring home page that is the default for the Treo 600. Also, I am going to have a lot of fun checking out the wap sites listed in OVurt's thread starter.
I concur with the "sticky" vote.
Thanks for the compilation.Originally posted by OVurt
Actually, with a little programming knowledge and some simple parsing tools, it's pretty easy. I don't have THAT much free time.![]()
