hey i just got the t-mobile get more plan few days ago, and i can still connect using gprs to the google wap site. so i guess it's still free, or are they just charging me and not telling me about it? does anyone know? (i don't have any t-zones service, so supposedly this feature would be disabled)

and is wap aim just going to some online wap site which has a aim applet and running that?

ive also gotten csd to work with an external gateway and everything for those of u who have gprs disabled. ill post up the info if anyones interested

Unhappy I know this is going to sound stupid but....

Can anyone explain what this list is for? I'm on a family plan and don't get T- Zone or have anything extra, what is WAP and can I use it on my Nokia 6010? If I do download anything from a WAP site, does T- Mobile charge me? No, right? Is WAP anyway connected to T- MObile? Do I have to change anything? What is this WAP AIM that everyone is talking about? I know what SMS is and that costs money so does that mean that WAP doesnt'? I also don't have internet connection on my phone, does that matter?

I am looking for the server address for TMobile AIM service. I tried the link on the page here but it does not work. Any ideas?

You have to pay for t-zones.

...Or sign up with an ISP to dial out to (at 9.6 kbps - SLOW). You will have to have your account provisioned by T-Mobile for data services - they *may* charge you $10.00 a month for that.

Hrm, is it just me or does the AIM address (http://wimd.aol.com/?service=tmobile) no longer work? I tried both typing it in and selecting it from the t-zones menu, but the connection wont go through.

You could set it up just Like T-Zones (minus the crap) Hmm....that would be sweet.

I'll be glad to host/post this info on my server, if it is still needed. Let me know.
